Current is in beta.
An RSS reader for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, built around calm and clarity.
I've been building an RSS reader called Current. It started from a question I keep coming back to: what would it feel like to read your feeds without the constant sense of needing to keep up?
Most feed readers inherited the shape of email. Unread counts. Bold titles demanding attention. An inbox that never empties. Current is an attempt to move away from that. Toward something that feels more like sitting down with a magazine than triaging a queue.
This is an early build. It's not feature-complete, and that's intentional. I'm focused on getting the feeling right first: calm, clarity, and relief from the pressure to stay current on everything.
If you want to try it, email me at current@terrygodier.com with the email address you use for your Apple ID. I'll add you to the TestFlight and Apple will send you instructions.
If you try it, the most helpful thing you can tell me is simple:
- Does this feel calmer than how you usually read?
- Where does friction still show up?
No pressure to give formal feedback. Even a sentence or two is incredibly useful at this stage.
