The visual essays aren't going anywhere, but not everything needs animation and a month of research. Just a thought and a place to put it. The visual essays on this site take a while. They're research-heavy, designed from scratch, and built to be experienced in a specific way. I love making them. But not everything I want to write needs that treatment.

So I started a blog: blog.terrygodier.com.

It's a place for shorter writing. Thoughts I'm working through, updates on projects like Current, new releases, things I noticed, things I changed my mind about. The kind of writing that doesn't need animation or a month of research. Just a thought and a place to put it.
